  • The New Horizons Book Club meets again on Thursday, March 14 at Noon at the Fairmount City Library. This month’s discussion will be on the book "The Nazi Officer's Wife" by Edith Hahn Beer. New members and guests are always welcome to join the discussion. For more information call 706-337-3110.

  • The Calhoun Tea Party meeting times have changed. The group will now be meeting once a month on the second Thursday of each month at Shoney’s Restaurant on Red Bud Road in Calhoun. The meeting will start promptly at 12 p.m. and ends at 1 p.m. If you would like to buy your lunch there and eat with us, Shoney’s has opened their side room at 11:30 a.m. for those of us who choose to do that.

  • The new meeting time and location for the Gordon County Survivors of Suicide Support Group is the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Family Intervention Specialists, at 320 North River St., Calhoun, near the Gordon County Health Dept.
