Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Danny McAllister of the residence; two sons, Shawn McAllister and his wife Sarojin, and Brian McAllister; her father, Lohnny Callaway; siblings, Frankie Callaway, Dolores McKee, and Carl Callaway, all of Dalton; and grandchildren, Michael, Camron, Hope, Sebastian, Trinity, and Tai McAllister. Other survivors are a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Mary Ann McAllister, and Betsy Phillips, all of Milledgeville, Ga.; a special aunt, Vivian Joyce Gann of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs Diane McAllister were held Tuesday, March 5 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Chaplain Ken Waddell officiating. Interment followed in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
The McAllister family received friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 5 – 9 p.m.
