Velo Vineyards in downtown Calhoun has been covered in toilet paper in anticipation of the Animal House screening scheduled at the GEM from 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday, March 2. The movie Animal House is rated R.
Following the show will be a themed Toga party at Velo Vineyards beginning at 8 p.m. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in Toga's, however they are optional.
Collection buckets for all Dancing with the Stars teams will be available, so participants may donate to whatever team they wish to support. All proceeds benefit the United Way.
Tickets for the screening of Animal House at the GEM are available at Velo Vineyards and Firehouse Gym.
Prior to the Toga Party, the public is encouraged to stop by First Baptist Church from 5 - 6:30 p.m. for a Spaghetti Supper, hosted by Dancing with the Stars team Ted Pennel and Meagan Walraven. All proceeds from the spaghetti supper will benefit the United Way as well.
Again on Saturday, March 9, Dancing with the Stars team Dr. Kirby Peden and Dr. Cindy Brown are hosting a Country Carnival at the Calhoun First United Methodist gym from 2 - 6 p.m.
For this event, tickets are $10 with all proceeds going to benefit the United Way.
