Charles Thompson
Charles Daniel Thompson, 65, of a Brittany Drive address in Calhoun was apprehended at a business near Dews Pond on February 15 by Sheriff's detectives for child molestation and sexual battery against a child under 16.
The arrest comes from an investigation that began on December 28, 2012 when a report was filed with the Sheriff's office in regards to child molestation against an eight year old.
According to authorities, the investigation also involved another seven year old victim.
The events are alleged to have taken place between October 2009 and January 2013 at locations in the Dews Pond Community.
Thompson remains in jail pending bond proceedings.
