Relay for Life of Gordon County presented each school superintendent with their 100 percent school participation awards for last year’s relay. Every school in Gordon County and Calhoun City participated in Relay last year and the American Cancer Society recognizes each school district for their efforts. Last year Gordon County schools raised $19,953 and Calhoun City schools raised $13,003 for a total of $32,956 for the relay for life.
