Sabrah Farmer Woody, 74, of Resaca, Ga., departed this life Wednesday January 30, 2013 at Gordon Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Sabrah was born on August 22, 1938 a daughter of the late Claude and Estelle Sloan Farmer. Sabrah was also predeceased by her husband Robert Woody.

Sabrah is survived by Daughters and son in laws; Deanna and Dennis Nesbitt of Resaca, Ga and Kim and Russ Cosby of Dalton, Ga. A son; Jeff McIntyre of Resaca. Ga, a sister; Ivahlee Miller of Erlanger, Ky. Sabrah is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Graveside Services to celebrate the life of Sabrah Farmer Woody will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplin James Collins officiating. Sabrah will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery next to her husband. The family will receive friends on Friday February 1 at the Calhoun Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home in Calhoun from 6-9 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.pondersfuneralhome.com.
