Do you have a desire to learn how to garden, but you don’t know the skills required to produce a successful harvest? Ken Mittleider will teach a free gardening class, which is open to the community, at the Calhoun Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1411 Rome Rd., January 24, 7 p.m., in the fellowship hall. The Fork supports United Way, eat at The Fork anytime next week, Jan. 21 through Jan. 27, and mention United Way. They will donate 10 percent of your total bill to the 2013 Campaign. The Fork Diner is located in the Piggly Wiggly Shopping Center on Red Bud Road.
