Gigi’s Story Time at the Calhoun Gordon County Library at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday Jan. 23. Children of all ages are invited to attend to hear winter wonderland stories.
YOGA classes at the Harris Arts Center are held every Wednesday evening in the upstairs Community Room. No need to register; classes are ongoing. All level yoga is from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday for those with some degree of flexibility. There is a beginner yoga class from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays for everyone. The fee for each class is $8 per; pay as you go. Bring a Yoga Mat and wear comfortable clothing. Come learn yoga with senior level instructor Rhonda Shannon. The Book Depot, operated by the Friends of the Library, is open each Wednesday from 1-5 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Book Depot is located in a small brick building at the corner of Court and King Streets. Proceeds from book sales go to support the Calhoun-Gordon County Library.
