WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is promising to uphold the Constitution in a public swearing in ceremony that signals the beginning of his second term in office.

Placing his hand on two Bibles -- one used by President Abraham Lincoln at his first Inauguration and one used by the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. -- Obama took a public oath of office on Monday, after he was sworn in during a private ceremony on Sunday. The Constitution requires presidential terms to begin on Jan. 20.

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts administered Obama's private swearing in on Sunday and the public ceremony Monday. He also swore Obama in during his first inauguration in 2009.

Question: “Why disprove confessed exaggeration and suggestion?”

Answer: Because you can’t!

FYI: It’s hyperbole and inference with a purpose.

Quixote? Hardly! But lest you think too highly of yourself, Sancho you’re not!

BTW: The president has never been a centrist and to make such a public statement is laughable on its face!!! Reference his life-long voluntary associations with confessed communists and self-proclaimed radicals: Ayers, Davis, ACORN etc. etc. etc. Who’s the deluded Quixote now? Nite nite.

Dullsville Don Quixote. Why disprove confessed exaggeration and suggestion?

The President's speech reveals his time as a centrist has come to an end.

The comment was factual, laced with a bit of hyperbole and inference on my part. However, your inability or unwillingness to refute anything therein just illustrates my point further. So file it in whatever crevice, cavity or orifice that turns you on! Live strong TL.

Meanwhile, eyewitness reports inauguration crowd “lackluster” and “smelled of weed.” http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/12463

Furthermore, rumor has it the president, just like Beyoncé’s “live” performance of the national anthem, lip-synced the words “...preserve, protect and defend...” I guess even he has to sleep at night. It must be tough being king!

File that comment with Lance Armstrong books in the fiction section.

Democrat VA State Senator Marsh willfully abandoned his seat (and his vote) during the legislative session to party with the president. I call that dereliction of duty. But if the roles were reversed, TL certainly would have regarded this as a smooth political move right? Funny, you failed to mention this vote gerrymandered yet another minority district. Dang those evil Republicans!

651 days until midterm elections.

Another graduate of the Lupe Fiasco school of rap!

While Democratic state senator is away at the inauguration VA Republicans push through a surprise redistricting bill that eliminates a Dem seat and gives them the majority with 20 to 19 votes.

1460 days to go.

Always a “backbencher”. Like ga4life: all bluster, no substance.

TL – Here’s a little something that may help you understand stock trends regardless of who occupies the White House.

http://stockcharts.com/freecharts/historical/djia1900.html

But I imagine you’re the type that when a Democrat is in office and the trend is up, it’s your guy’s responsibly, but when a Republican is in office and the markets are trending up, well that’s just a function of the marketplace.

Take you meds and enjoy the chart. Nite nite.

Is that all you've got!

Looks like the S&P500 loves socialism.

Republicans praise Obama for offering bold vision to spoil.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama covers up his Muslim faith by saying "So help me God" at the end of the presidential oath. That means Romney is automatically president and Obama no longer gets his 72 virgins after he dies

Let’s set ObamaCare and the full-frontal assault on the Constitution aside to recap some of his first term highlights:

699 teleprompter speeches (one notably to elementary students)

35 foreign countries visited (some more than once) including his apology tour through the muslim world bowing before royals and despots,

13 vacations for total of 83 days,

visited 44 of the “57” states during 245 domestic trips for a total of 417 days on the road (can you say Campaigner In Chief)

113 rounds of golf played but only 19 Cabinet meetings in 4 years,

0 (yes zero) meetings with his much ballyhooed Jobs Council (remember he’s “focused like a laser beam on job creation”)

“you didn’t build that”

he sat under Jerry Wright’s preaching for 20 years but insists he "...never heard anything radical"

was against gay marriage before he was for it, claimed he would have the “most transparent administration in history”

narcissistically referred to himself 63 times during Senator Inouye’s eulogy

and for the coup-de-grâce added $5.8 Trillion (and counting) to the national debt, that’s $50K plus per household (but that was Bush’s fault right TL?)

I can’t wait to see what the next 4 years holds!!!
