Beatrice was born February 15, 1928 in Tifton, Ga., a daughter of the late Ambrose and Amanda Hale. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Victor Nathaniel Holt, sons, Raymond Paul Holt, Jerry Nathaniel Holt, brothers, Tommy, Hubert, James, Willie and Pee Wee Hale, sisters, Ruth Ann Hale, Irene Gideon.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, William Holt, Charles and Lisa Holt of Fairmount, David and Danielle Holt of Plainville, GA, Tim Holt of Calhoun, GA, Beverly Holt of Fairmount; daughters and son-in-law, Martha and Bobby Childers of Fairmount, Rose Burns of Calhoun; brother, Albert Hale; sisters, Rose Lee Leach of White, Ga., Eunice Hale of Cartersville, Ga.; 25 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Beatrice Ruth Holt were held Wednesday January 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the Ponders Fairmount Chapel with Pastor Gary Henson officiating. Interment followed in the Salacoa Baptist Church Cemetery with Dylan Holt, Matthew Young, Brian Cotten, Jonathan Williams, Randy Nelson and Robbie Kelly serving as pallbearers. The family received friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday.
