The students at Coble Seventh-day Adventist Coble Elementary School passed on exchanging gifts this Christmas season. Instead they raised money to buy a cow for an orphanage school through the auspices of the International Children’s Care (www.forhiskids.org) .

The students were attired in various native costumes representing the theme of the program: Christmas Around the World, as they sang musical arrangements. The Christmas play, which followed a selection of eight Christmas carols sung by all grades of the school was titled, “Where’s Jesus?” and involved the participation of 40 students.

Ric Stitzer, Coble principal, is proud of the hard work that students, teachers, parents, and others put forth in promoting the Cow for Christmas gift for African orphans.
