The Partners in Education program of Calhoun City Schools welcomes Ron Dobbs as it’s latest member. Mr. Dobbs is a local businessman and aviation enthusiast who continues to partner with our schools in a variety of ways. Ron is most known for taking students for rides in his helicopter and airplanes as rewards for the EBIS, or positive behavior programs. These rides are certainly once in a lifetime opportunities that students may otherwise not be exposed to. Each semester students from CES are pulled from a Jacket Gold lottery and the lucky winners are afforded a trip with Mr. Dobbs. Ron also contributes funds and resources to the schools and community education programs. If you would like more information on how you may join our Partners in Education program please contact Peter Coombe at coombep@calhounschools.org or visit our website at www.calhounschools.org/PIE.

It’s really not that complicated. Just raise taxes, don’t cut any wasteful spending and use the money to hire more union members. Everything will be just fine until the next fiscal cliff. It’s exactly what DC would recommend.

When referring to the news or schools in Gordon County please refer to them in their proper ministries Newspeak names such as: The Ministry of Truth, which concerns itself with news, entertainment, education, and the fine arts. The Ministry of Peace, which concerns itself with war. The Ministry of Love, which maintains law and order. And the Ministry of Plenty, which is responsible for economic affairs. Their names, in Newspeak: Minitrue, Minipax, Miniluv, and Miniplenty.

Hey, I read that book too!

War is peace.

Freedom is slavery.

Ignorance is strength.

Safe to say you're quite strong, Skippy

Absent, since I don't believe that you can actually read, I will congratulate you on being able to Google phrases. Well, you have just proven to me exactly who you are and what you believe in. You have used the age old progressive liberal text book response to a statement, not with rational thought to refute the statements, or prove that they are wrong, or state why you don't agree with them and why, by attacking the person who made them. This is the typical response from someone who doesn't know how to counter these statements in an intelligent manner. Why don't you try to use a little thought or find someone who knows how to think and tell us all why you think my statement was wrong or not politically correct. I can't wait for this answer!

Come on SKIPPY, you know very well it takes a village. Where has your progressive communal spirit gone this year? The Collective might view you as a malcontent and re-education camp could very well be in your future. Betcha they’ve got books!

I know all of the progressive text books by heart. I've been studying them for over 40 years. Attempts at re-education are happening everyday through our progressive media, but you are right, a camp could be in my future as well as a lot of the village idiots in Gordon County. At least all of the Gordon County texts are all pictures or so I've been told. I know a communal attitude is needed, but it's hard when you just chat with a stranger in Ft. Oglethorpe and she says she is retired drawing social security, and drawing disability at the same time. This person is trying to get Graves to compromise so that she won't lose her benefits. She would make a wonderful progressive indoctrination teacher. I'll try to develop a more collective attitude.

I don't owe your kids textbooks. Buy them yourself!
