Survivors include his wife, Maxine Thurman Parker; a son, Michael Parker; two daughters, Tabitha Clark and her husband Daniel of Cartersville, and Tina Grant and her husband Terry of Fairmount; four brothers, Scott Parker and his wife Jenny of Rome, Tony Parker and his wife Patsy of Calhoun, Charles Parker of Calhoun, and Joe Parker of Calhoun; two sisters, Joyce Ellis and Helen Brown, both of Calhoun; and grandchildren, Starla, Ryan, and Charity, all of Cartersville, and Dakota and Montana Grant of Fairmount. Other survivors include his best friend, Jimmy Bradley of Resaca; several nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Franklin Hulin Parker will be held Saturday, December 15th at 3:00pm from the Mount Olive Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
There will be no visitation. Family and friends will gather at Mount Olive Baptist Church at the service hour of 3:00pm.
