Two Calhoun women were arrested Tuesday in Floyd County and charged with felony trafficking of methamphetamine.

Rosa Isela Macias-Aguirre, 42, of 208 Meadow Brook Drive, Calhoun, was arrested after she was found to be in possession of more than 28 grams of the controlled substance during a traffic stop.

The car she was in was stopped because of a warrant for the other woman in the car, Patricia Ortiz-Hernandez, who was was also arrested, according to Floyd County Jail Reports.
