Mr. Woody was the Son of the late Horace Jerome “H.J.” Woody and Roselee Edwards Woody. Mr. Woody was self-employed concrete worker and was also a member of the Rio Baptist Church.
Survivors include, his Wife of 52 years, Mary Lou Woody, of Fairmount, Ga., Daughters and Sons-In-Law, Sherrie and Eric Childers, of the Ludville Community, and Rhonda and Dwayne Walter of Fairmount, Ga., and his Son, Jack Anthony Woody, of the Rio Community, seven Grandchildren, and six Great-Grandchildren also survive.
A Memorial Service is scheduled from 12 - 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012, at the Fairmount Community Center
