The Calhoun Yellow Jackets won on Friday night, but it sure wasn't easy.

The Jackets held off a feisty Lamar County team for a 21-14 win to advance to the Georgia Dome and the Class AA State Championship Game for the fifth straight season.

They will face Jefferson in the finals after the Dragons defeated GAC on Friday.

Calhoun's offense was held scoreless in the second half, but the defense came up big several times, including an interception in the end zone by Donnell Anthony on the final play of the game. It was his second interception of the game.

Calhoun's Alex Urbano ran for 160 yards on 24 carries and two TDs.
