The Gordon County Sheriffs Office has apprehended three fugitives recently, one being on the “10 Most Wanted” list for Gordon County.

On Friday, November 30, Gordon County deputy sheriffs arrested a “10 Most Wanted” suspect, Lisa Brackett, 36, of 4374 Nance Springs Road, Dalton, who had been wanted by the Georgia State Patrol since April 2012 in connection with a drug-related investigation, according to a press release from the Gordon County Sheriffs Department.

Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, Gordon County deputy sheriffs, along with Whitfield County deputies, traveled to Lower Dug Gap Road in Whitfield County in search of the defendant.

They located and approached a private residence where the fugitive was believed to be hiding, and after entering the residence Brackett was found inside and arrested without incident, according to the press release.

Brackett was released on bond on December 1.

On Friday, November 30, Gordon County deputy sheriffs arrested Emery Blake Gulledge, 31, of 109 May Street, Adairsville.

After traveling to Bartow County in search of Gulledge who has been wanted since November 26 after he escaped from deputies during a traffic stop on Interstate 75 near the Gordon-Bartow County line, according to the press release.

Along with Bartow County deputies in an unmarked vehicle, authorities approached a private residence in northern Bartow County near Adairsville where Gulledge was located and apprehended.

Gulledge was booked into the Gordon County Jail on charges of escape and battery, and is currently awaiting judicial proceedings.

On Monday, December 3 Gordon County deputy sheriffs arrested saw Josh Hanley, age 23, of 107 Newtown Road after the deputies received a tip from a concerned citizen that an inmate, who left a work detail assignment and failed to report to the jail, was hiding at an apartment complex on Newtown Road, according to the press release.

While on the scene deputy sheriffs noticed a video game that had been paused, when looking through a window at the residence.

Authorities also witnessed Hanley, wanted for escape, inside the residence.

Hanley was apprehended without incident and returned to the county jail where he awaits judicial proceedings, according to the press release.
