Britt Barnett, 29, of Calhoun, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was born August 24, 1983 to Dwayne Barnett and Janine Black. He was a lifelong resident of Gordon County, and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edna Barnett and Doyle Pasley.

Survivors include his son, Bretlin Barnett; father, Dwayne Barnett and his companion Angie Roebuck; mother, Janine Black and her companion Lamar Williams; a brother, Canyon Black; a sister, Christina Black; aunts and uncles, Kellie and Chris Craig, Tim Pasley, Nathan Pasley, Rhonda and Rickey Young, Rodney and Brenda Barnett; and grandparents, David Barnett and his companion, Cindy Stewart; and Dolores Pasley. Several very special cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Britt Barnett were held Saturday, November 24 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Quarles and Chris Craig officiating. Interment followed in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers included Zeth Roberson, Zane Roberson, Canyon Black, Garrison Pasley, Nathan Pasley, Dustin Fox, Justin Young and Teddy King.

The Barnett family received friends Friday, November 23 from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
