The Jordon Pass-Wanda Westmoreland Scholarship awarded its second student.

The second recipient of the $1,000 dollar scholarship went to Chase Cassell of Georgia Cumberland Academy.

“Chase was a good friend of Jordon’s,” Russell Pass, founder of the Jordon Pass-Wanda Westmoreland Scholarship, said.

The money for the scholarships came from donations and fundraisers around the county, and is awarded to local students who have had friends or family commit suicide.
