Norman was an accounting graduate of Massey Business College, and had been employed as an accountant with Sears. He had owned Mableton Flower Shop in Mableton, GA, and had recently been employed part-time with Brannon Florist as a designer.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Sharon Hightower of Atlanta; two sisters, Vivian Jackson and Argle West, both of Sugar Valley; and two grandchildren, Andrew and Austin Hightower.
Funeral services for Mr. Norman Lee Hightower were held Thursday, November 1 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Grove (Ryo) Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1 p.m.
