The North Georgia Chiefs are an 11U baseball team made up of students attending both Gordon County and Calhoun City schools here in Gordon County.

This travel baseball team is made up of hard-working athletes and enthusiastic team members who are sharing a true love for baseball and giving it their all out on the field.

They are also coached by some very dedicated coaches who commit a lot of time and effort to helping each child learn: Chad Castoe, Johnny Walker and Brint Gallman.

As the season is winding down, this team currently has thirteen members/players: Blade Bryant, Kobie Carney, Wyatt Castoe, Ethan Crump, Andrew Gallman, Nolan Gray, Devin Hackney, Julian Ipac, Zane McCracken, Matthew Morrison, Jackson Murray, Ethan Tibbs and Trent Walker. The Chiefs took Runners Up in the recent Javy Lopez USAAA Tournament in Douglasville, Georgia on October 27 and 28.

This is a big accomplishment for a first year AA team.

The team looks forward to continuing to grow and compete as the spring baseball season approaches.
