Ten members of the Gordon Central chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America competed at the State National Fair in Perry, GA. Students competed in what was the largest FBLA conference in the state of Georgia with more than 9,000 members in attendance.
FBLA members heard Ben Glenn, the Chalkguy, a motivational speaker. He captured the students’ attention by his speed chalkart he drew to music. He also showed the analogy of life to his beautiful artwork.
After the speaker, students competed in various tests, and the winners will be announced at the Fall Leadership Conference in Athens, Ga., Nov. 14.
The group also participated in an evening at Dave and Buster’s Eat and Play while traveling back to Calhoun.
