The east and west bound lanes of Ga. Highway 53 are blocked as of 7:30 a.m. following a three car collision in the area of Foster Lusk Road early this morning, according to E 911. One of the cars collided with a power pole, knocking it to the ground, along with the power lines. No one was seriously injured in the accident. Law enforcement officials expect extended delays while the power company works on the lines.
