Nash Nance, Hampden-Sydney, Calhoun alum
Nance had 287 yars on 21-of-32 passing with a touchdown in the Tigers’ 42-21 win over Shenandoah last Saturday. He also had 28 rushing yards on five attempts.
Tre Lamb, Tennessee Tech, Calhoun alum
Lamb had a big day through the air completing 18-of-31 passes for 283 yards and four touchdowns in the Golden Eagles loss to Eastern Kentucky.
Adam Urbano, Tennessee Tech, Calhoun alum
Urbano, a running back was big in the passing game for the Golden Eagles on Saturday, catching three passes for 77 yards and a touchdown to go along with his four rushing yards.
Da’Rick Rogers, Tennessee Tech, Calhoun alum
Rogers was another big weapon for Lamb in the passing game as the junior caught six passes for 76 yards and three touchdowns in the loss to Eastern Kentucky.
Ty Frix, Georgia, Calhoun alum
Frix once again handled all snapping duties in the Bulldogs 29-24 win over Kentucky on Saturday. He helped kicker Marshall Morgan go 2-for-3 on extra points and also hit a 27-yard field goal.
Rhett Mcgowan, Georgia, Calhoun alum
McGowan was the deep man on punt returns for Georgia on Saturday as he had three returns for a total of 19 yards with a long of 14 against Kentucky. He also had one catch for 10 yards.
CJ Bell, Tusculum, Gordon Central alum
Bell, a freshman linebacker, saw some action in Tusculum’s loss to Newberry, recording one solo tackle.
Tyler Thacker, Univ. of the Cumberlands, Sonoraville alum
Thacker, the starting center for the Patriots, helped pave the way for 401 rushing yards as a team in Cumberlands’ 75-13 win over Virginia-Wise on Saturday.
