The Gordon County Literacy Council, a Jacket Trustee and Partner in Education, recently made a donation to the Calhoun City Schools’ Pre-K Program for the purchase of Ipads for the classroom. With the innovation of wireless technology and the ability to use a multitude of online applications to enhance the learning process for students, it was decided that the Literacy Council would make a direct donation for the purpose of purchasing iPads for each classroom. These iPads will enable students to build their reading and comprehension skills through programs built for the specific purpose of putting into practice the valuable skills they learn in the classroom.
