Although Thatcher is busy with school and various sports, he can’t seem to stay out of the kitchen.
Thatcher began cooking with his grandmother, Betty, at the age of three.
What began as helping with mashed potatoes developed into something much more advanced.
Not only is he cooking his “Famous Macaroni and Cheese” by himself, in which he claims to have “a special secret ingredient”, he also makes many other things, including chocolate cakes, under adult supervision.
Thatcher says he enjoys cooking because it’s fun.
“I like putting stuff in pans and stirring and cracking eggs,” says Thatcher.
Thatcher is the youngest of three siblings and admits to cooking more than his mother, Chandra Hall.
“Mom used to only know how to cook spaghetti,” shares Thatcher. “Dad does all of the cooking.”
Thatcher says that he doesn’t really get to help his father, Michael Hall, cook much because he cooks mostly on the grill.
When Thatcher isn’t in school, playing sports, or cooking, he is playing hide and seek, hiking, fishing, hunting, or playing video games.
When asked what his favorite thing to make was, Thatcher was quick to respond with banana pudding.
Today, Thatcher is sharing with us, his famous home recipes of “Bears Football Pizza” and “Banana Awesome Oreo Pudding.”
