
Students with the Calhoun Drama Club from the Longhorn Character Breakfast held at Longhorn in Calhoun, dressed up like a character from a storybook, film, or theater and were used as servers and hostesses for the morning raising funds for their upcoming production of the broadway hit Godspell that will be used as their performance piece for Region AA one act play competition next month. A pajama Drama Theatre workshop is the second fundraiser to benefit the community and the students on their quest in hopes of continuing their winning reign over the Once Act Play competition.
This fundraiser starts the Region AA Champs on their trek to another great season, this Saturday, September 29.
They will sponsor a Pajama Drama Kid’s Theatre Workshop at Calhoun Elementary School Gym from 6-11 p.m. at a cost of only $35 per child and all students first thru sixth grades are invited.
The cast will present their competition One Act Play selection of GODSPELL on October 13 and 14 at the GEM Theater downtown Calhoun.
