Mr. Jerry Randall Taylor, 60, of Fairmount, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Gordon Hospital, Calhoun. Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, A member of Post 305 American Legion in Fairmont, and Sons of American Legion and the 40/8 Brigade.

Visitation was Saturday, September 22 from 9 a.m. until the Memorial Service hour at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his Mother: Joyce Taylor Hughes, Griffin, Ga., Father: Reuben Taylor Jr, College Park, Ga., Son: Brandon Taylor, Tuscaloosa, Ala., Life Partner: Jennifer Craig, Fairmount, Brothers: Dr. Walter Taylor, South Port, N.C. and Riley Taylor, Griffin Ga., Sisters: Judi Messner, Pittsburgh, KS and Teri Nester, West Moreland, KS and several Nieces and Nephews. The family requests in lieu of flowers donate to American Legion Post 305, Fairmount.
