Joshua David Cooper

Mr. Joshua David Cooper, 27, of 1199 Hall Station Road, Adairsville, Ga., passed away September 15, 2012 at the residence.

He was born in Rome, Ga., October 8, 1984, son of Johnny David Cooper and Denise Marie Smith Cooper. Mr. Cooper enjoyed spending time with his girls, was an avid hunter, and loved to fish. He was a member of Snow Springs Baptist Church and preceded in death by his grandmother, Bonnie Adams Cooper.

Survivors include his two daughters, Sheridan Cooper of Adairsville and Sydney Cooper of Rome; a stepdaughter, Emma Turner of Rome; parents, Johnny and Denise Cooper, of Adairsville; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Randy Horton of Calhoun; a niece and nephew, Ashley and Chaz Horton of Calhoun; grandparents, Frank and Billie Smith of Adairsville and Johnny V. Cooper of Calhoun; very best friend and hunting buddy, Reggie Fletcher; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive, Josh came from a huge loving family and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Snow Springs Baptist Church, Adairsville with Rev. Stephen Cochran officiating. Interment followed in Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6-9 p.m. at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
