Amanda Montgomery
This special award was created by members of the hospital’s Employee Engagement Committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis.
It is awarded monthly to a deserving employee selected by the hospital’s directors.
Montgomery is employed in the hospital’s laboratory as a phlebotomist.
“Amanda does an outstanding job in customer service and phlebotomy,” said Jennifer Wise, director of Gordon Hospital’s Laboratory Services. “I am so glad she is part of our team.”
Montgomery says she is very appreciative for the recognition.
“I am very grateful to work in an environment where the entire teams makes a difference,” Montgomery says. “I feel appreciative to receive this award.”
Montgomery and her husband, Michael, reside in Calhoun with their children, Ansley, 9, and Gavin, 5. She enjoys reading and going to church.
