When presented with the opportunity to sign on as a Partner in Education, they were pleased to offer their services as an extension of the learning experience for all students of Calhoun Schools.
Both Baxter and Dean bring a unique perspective to the PIE program as they are both recent graduates who have pursued their dream, lending their artistic talents to their chosen professions.
Also, the two are excited to lend their talents to the students of Calhoun Schools, whether it be sharing their business model with business students, or working with those who are interested in a similar career choice, they have made it clear that they are hear to support the mission of Calhoun City Schools.
Baxter-Dean Downtown is a full service studio specializing in weddings, senior portraits and birthday parties for middle and high school age students, complete with hair and makeup and photo shoots.
The company hosts an annual runway fashion show featuring local models benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Baxter was named Best Photographer in Calhoun by Calhoun Magazine in 2011 and was also featured in the same publication as a member of the 20 people to watch under 40.
Both serve as members of the Chamber of Commerce and also both competed in Calhoun’s Dancing with the Stars.
Recognizing the need to share their unique talents, Andy and Hanna have recently taken aboard two work based learning students from Calhoun High School, Carly Curtis and Sarah Patton.
