Prep Football: Calhoun, Gordon Central win to move to 2-0; Sonoraville falls to Gilmer

Week 2 of the prep football season played out on Friday night with two of three local teams getting wins.

Calhoun beat Dalton in a shootout, 56-41, on the road, and Gordon Central blasted Southeast Whitfield, 46-7, at home. The Jackets and Warriors both move to 2-0 on the young season.

Sonoraville didn't fair as well, falling to 0-2 thanks to a 31-0 loss to Gilmer at home.
