With their soulful four-part harmonies, poetic lyrics and indelible melodies, von Grey masterfully melds folk, bluegrass and country influences. The Atlanta Journal Constitution has hailed von Grey as “nothing short of stunning,” but you can see for yourself on Saturday, September 22 at Calhoun’s GEM Theatre.

The von Grey sisters have been playing music nearly their entire lives. Classically trained from an early age, the Atlanta-based quartet – Kathryn, Annika, Fiona and Petra– have built on that foundation by performing upwards of 200 shows in the past two years, from recurring residency tours at intimate venues throughout the southeastern U.S. to supporting gigs with such artists as Sarah McLachlan.

Their forthcoming five-song EP, recorded with GRAMMY® award-winning producer/engineer Nick DiDia captures the band’s essence and the raw intensity of their live performances. For a preview visit www.vongreymusic.com.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for GEM members and $8 for students. On sale now at www.calhoungem.org, (706) 625-3132 or the GEM box office open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
