Sonoraville High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) set new goals for the new school year.

After the best FBLA year in the history of the school, the officer team has come together to plan for another successful year.

The state FBLA theme is “Leaders by Design” and the national FBLA theme is “Igniting Innovation”.

The SHS officers have raised the bar for their local chapter and have set higher goals to achieve more accolades this year than they earned last year.

They wish to recruit more professional members and student members this year. President Dustin Curtis is enthusiastic about the new year and has been interviewed at the radio station WJTH, in Calhoun, outlining some of his personal goals for the group this year.

They are also inspired by their new school motto “Rise Up--Catch the Phoenix Fire”. Advisers Brandi Hayes and Lisa Smith are excited to be involved with such a talented group of students.
