The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at Sonoraville High School hosted a Summer Leadership and Officer Training Summit (SLOTS) for FBLA officers and members from the Northwest Georgia area on July 12.

Approximately 200 students and advisers attended the training, delivered by Georgia FBLA Director, Monty Rhodes, and student members of the executive council.

FBLA SLOTS provide an opportunity for club members to learn leadership and teamwork skills, as well as specific requirements for their offices held.

Members will then be able to take activities and skills learned during the training back to their chapters to incorporate the following year.

Students were involved in team building activities and workshops specific to their role as an officer and as member leaders of this dynamic youth group.
