Stargazers could catch a glimpse of a natural light show early Saturday morning as the Perseid meteor shower culminates. A lot will depend on the how cloudy the sky is.

The meteor shower is a much-anticipated annual event, said Tellus Museum Astronomer David Dundee, and has already begun.

The Tellus Museum, located at 100 Tellus Drive in Cartersville, will be hosting a lecture series about the shower Friday at 7 p.m.
