The North Georgia Bulldogs left no doubt on Saturday night about who the better team was on the field when they traveled to take on the Georgia Knights in Stockbridge.

The Bulldogs rolled to a 70-0 smashing of the Knights to improve their season record to 6-0.

“I can’t say enough once again about how we dominated the entire game,” said Bulldogs head coach Mark Bramblett. “There is a few spots we want to get better, but I feel we are really peaking at the right time.”

The Bulldogs led 39-0 at the half, scoring five offensive and one defensive touchdown. The defense then took over after the break, scoring four touchdowns in the second half to go along with another offensive touchdown.

“Our offense is really starting to click and gel,” said Bramblett. “Defensively, we had another lights out kind of game. The defensive line was really dominating the line of scrimmage and causing issues all night.”

Quarterback Brisco Bingham was 10-for-12 passing for 166 yards and two TDs, and Patrick Dupree had 92 yards rushing on nine carries and two TDs to lead the offense. Mike Emerson was the leading receiver with 78 yards on three catches with a TD.

Emerson, Dayton Luther, Arsenio Mouldin, Kwamaine Winters and Brandon Ridgeway all had defensive touchdowns. Mouldin had a four tackles, a sack, interception and fumble recovery to go along with his score, and Ridgeway had two picks and three tackles. Darius McDonald had two sacks and forced two fumbles to go along with six tackles.

“It was a great team win for us and it sets the tone for our last two games before the playoffs start,” said Bramblett.

The Bulldogs are back at home at the Calhoun Rec Department football field on Saturday to host the Alabama Trojans.
