Calhoun City Schools recently honored Teachers of the Year, past and present, at a special luncheon planned in their honor.

With a rich tradition of excellence, spanning 110 years, Calhoun City Schools has produced some of the finest educators in the state of Georgia.

Dr. Michele Taylor, Superintendent, shared a vision of the future and discussed numerous programs, calling upon these teacher leaders to help in their implementation.

“Elected by your peers, you serve as model teachers who have earned the title of Teacher of the Year. We are excited to build the future of Calhoun City Schools with each of you playing an integral part. Thank you for your continued support of our school system and the students whom you teach,” said Taylor.

We look forward to recognizing future Teachers of the Year this fall.
