There are more than 3,500 certified hospice providers nationwide, including more than 300 hospice providers in Georgia.
“Our mission is to provide a deeper level of care and comfort to our hospice patients and their families and we strive to go above and beyond to meet their needs, as well as those of their physicians,” said Russ Rogers, Omega/Sunflower Health Care President and CEO. “We are thrilled that the services provided by our Cartersville staff have been recognized by the NHPCO on both national and state levels for fulfilling our mission.”
NHPCO is the largest nonprofit membership organization representing hospice and palliative care programs and professionals in the United States.
Omega Health Care and its sister company, Sunflower Health Care, have been providing in-home hospice care since 2007. Currently the Cartersville location has a total of 16 employees serving patients in 22 counties in the Atlanta and Northwest Georgia area.
