Worley has been employed by Gordon Hospital for 2½ years and serves as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit.
“Lisa is always going above and beyond the call of duty for our hospital,” says Jennie Banks, director of critical care services for Gordon Hospital. “According to her co-workers, she is great to work with and embodies teamwork. She’s always smiling and she’s willing to do whatever she needs to do to ensure that her patients are taken care of.”
Worley says she is honored to receive the award.
“I feel blessed to work with such a wonderful group of people,” she says. “I feel that Gordon Hospital is where I belong.”
A graduate of Georgia Highlands, Worley resides in Calhoun with her husband, Johnny. They have two sons, one daughter: Brian and Brandi Worley, Kesha and Wesley Mauldin, and Eric and Brittany Worley; and eight grandchildren: Lance, Kyleigh, Kobie, Maddie, Anna, Luke, Braylon, and Braxton. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
