Two teen pedestrians injured by vehicle

Two teens were struck by a vehicle last night, Monday, July 23 at approximately 10:15 p.m. while crossing the Highway 41, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

China Stewart, 17, and Jennifer Harding, 13, both of Calhoun, were crossing the highway when they were hit after stepping from the center turn lane by a 1999 Buick LeSabre driven by Jackie Lamar Densmore, 67, of Calhoun.

Stewaart was taken to Gordon Hospital and Harding was airlifted to Erlanger. No charges have been filed against Densmore.
