The Fairmount City Library will return to it's regular monthly Story Time this Saturday, July 14 with The Fairy God-Mother reading "The Mouse, Mole and Falling Star" by H.H. Ben-jamin. Story Time is from 10:30 to noon and a craft and snack are included with the story. Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you need more information, please call 706-337-3110.
Mercy’s second anniversary singing will be July 14 starting at 5 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church. There will be free food and great singing. Singing includes, The Gift of Life Singers, Traveling by Faith Renewed and Ms. Shirley Turner. Come on out and join us for an evening of praise.
The Church of God Convention will be at the Calhoun Convention Center July 13 – 14. Friday it will be from 12 - 6:30 pm. The times for Saturday are 7 – 9 am then it opens again at 12 - 1:30 pm and then again from 4 - 6 pm. The convention will be selling crafts, bake good and quilts in a blind auction.
