The Bulldogs will try to stay undefeated on Saturday night when they host the Montgomery Buffaloes at the Calhoun Rec Department football field, the second of three straight home games for the Bulldogs.
Kickoff for the game is set for 7 p.m. and tickets are $6 and kids four and under get in free.
The Bulldogs are coming off a bye week after defeating the Georgia Rams, 56-6, in their home opener on June 30.
In that game the Bulldogs showed off their strong rushing attack, totaling close to 300 yards on the ground and six rushing touchdowns.
The defense was just as dominant, allowing less than 100 yards of total offense to the Rams while also forcing five turnovers (four fumble recoveries, one interception) and a safety.
The Buffaloes come into Calhoun at 1-1, and this is the first of two games between the division rivals this season. The Buffaloes have average 33 points per game and give up an average of 16.5 points per game this season.
Both North Georgia and Montgomery are contenders to win their conference and the winner of this game will have the inside track on earning the No. 1 seed and home-field throughout the playoffs.
