SALISBURY, N.C. (AP) -- Four people have been arrested in North Carolina after they mistakenly called the wrong person about drug purchases.

The man they got was a Rowan County sheriff's deputy.

The Salisbury Post ( http://bit.ly/LIJlgj ) reported that Deputy Jagger Naves was awakened by four calls to his cell phone around 4 a.m. Monday.

Some of the calls complained about the quantity of drugs they had purchased and wanted him to correct the problem.

Naves arranged to meet two of the callers and later met with two other callers elsewhere. All four were arrested.

I’ve made similar complaints in the past, only to discover that often stories get covered in the print edition and never make it to the Internet page. Go figure.

This is a riot of a story. Shows completely how idiotic people are when they are involved in criminal activity. But I have to wonder what this has to do with the Calhoun area. There are things around the area going on that could be considered news worthy but never see anything about them in the paper. I know of a couple 3 accidents in the area 2 that tied up traffic on the highway. The 2 on the highway tied up traffic and made the Atlanta news but never anything local. The 3rd was on a county street and a death was involved but again nothing in the news. Took almost week for the robbery at Wilco to make the paper. Just curiosity here.
