Clarissa Lewis a resident of Calhoun, was among 1,055 students from Tennessee State University who received undergraduate and graduate degrees during the University’s Centennial Spring Commencement Exercises held Saturday, May 5, 2012.

Candidates for degree included 793 students earning bachelor’s degrees and 263 receiving graduate degrees. Lewis received a Master of Science in Agricultural Sciences.

With more than 9,000 students, Tennessee State University is Nashville’s only public university, and is a comprehensive, urban, coeducational, land-grant university offering 38 undergraduate, 22 graduate and seven doctoral programs.
