Coosa Valley Regional Services is holding their monthly board meeting on June 21 at 10 am at the main office at 3 Riverside Industrial Parkway N.E., Rome. All Public is cordially in-vited to attend.
The Calhoun Pregnancy Center Inc., located on Peters Street at the four-way stop signs, offers free pregnancy test kits, counseling by lay counselors trained in Biblical counseling, and referrals to other agencies. It also offers pregnancy help services including maternity and baby clothes, diapers, and other baby care items and furniture as needed and available. The center will be open on Tuesdays from noon to 4 p.m. and Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and after-hours appointments are available by prior arrangements. All services are free and confidential. Call 706-625-5768 to make an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome.
The Brain Injury Association of Gordon County Support Group meets at the Cup of Life Worship Center at the cor-ner of Red Bud and New Town Rd. The support group is for family and friends of victims of brain injuries. The group will continue meeting the third Thursday of every month except December from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information, contact Judy Collins at 770-548-2660.
