The Northwest Georgia Daylily Society invites the public to see this years show in Calhoun at the North Georgia Experiment Station on McDaniel Station Road on Saturday, June 16, 2012. The show will be open to the public from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm. The plant2sale will open at 9:00 am.

Descendants of Robert and Rusie Hall’s Family Reunion will be June 16 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Antioch Christain Family Life Center on Dews Pond Road.
The Race to End Alzheimer’s will be held Saturday, June 16, at Paradise Dragstrip in Cal-houn. The gates open at 7 a.m., and will go through 3 p.m. This event is in memory of Otto Timms, The cost to drag race is $20; the spectator fee is $10. For more information, call Karen at 706-624-5333.
The Fairmount City Library Summer Reading Program will have a special guest pro-gram for Saturday, June 16. Our story will be "Night Goes By" by Kate Spohn and Ms. Carmen Forsee will be here to present a special program on the Dream Catcher. This craft and program is popular with children and adults. The program starts at 10:30 am at the Fairmount City Library. Children must be pre-registered and accompanied by an adult. You can register at the Fairmount City Library during normal business hours.
