Bonnie Weaver, formerly of Calhoun, was recently chosen as the “2012 Ms. Fair Haven” at the Fair Haven Retirement Center in Birmingham, Ala. Mrs. Weaver is 98 years of age and is still moderately active in the carious activities at the center. She has four children, nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Her children are James and Billy Weaver of Calhoun, Barbara Roth of Rock Hill, South Carolina and Fran Duncan of Birmingham, Ala.

Fair Haven Retirement Center, owned and operated by the Methodist Homes Corporation, has been opened since 1961 and offers six levels of quality care. It is Alabama’s largest Senior Living Center.
