  • The Third Annual Fairmount United Memorial Day Festival will be held Monday, May 28, 2012. The Schedule of Events: 7:30 a.m. 5-K Run/Walk Registration, 8:45 a.m. Presentation of the Colors, 9:00 a.m. 5-K Run begins, 9:00 a.m. Registration begins for Classic American Rides, 10:30 a.m. 5-K Run Award Presentation, 11:00 a.m. Cherokee Promenadors, 1:30 p.m. Recognition of Veterans and at 2:00 p.m. Classic American Rides Awards Presentation.

  • The Fairmount City Library will be at the 3rd Annual Fairmount United Memorial Day Festival at Tate Park on Monday May 28. Registration for our Summer Reading Programs for Elementary students and Teens will be taken. We will also have books available for sale at very good (cheap) prices.
