Gordon County Schools Driver Education Program will offer driver’s education to all stu-dents during the summer. The cost of the class is $250. Applications can be found on line at the school system web site (www.gcbe.org). If you have any questions about the classes con-tact Geary Cooper or Karen Clark at the transportation office at 706-629-1804. Current Class Schedule: Gordon Central HS– May 21 to May 25 – 8:00 to 2:30 (30 minute lunch break from 11:30 to 12:00) and Sonoraville HS– May 28 to June 1 – 8:00 to 2:30 (30 minute lunch break from 11:30 to 12:00).
The Gordon County Nutrition Site would like to invite seniors ages 60 and over to come to the senior center, located at 150 Cambridge Court Monday – Friday at 11:30 a.m. for a nutri-tious meal.
